MasterGrind: How to Set Saw?
Positioning Procedure
1. Saw Blade Clamp
Adjust the knob just beside the clamp to the thickness of the saw blade.
2. Graduated Scale
Each graduation represents 0.1mm. If the saw blade thickness is 2.6mm, turn the knob counterclockwise by 26 notches.
Caution: Prior adjustment, press the Saw Blade Clamp Open button .
3. Saw Blade Alignment
Pull out the saw center guide (used for trapezoidal tooth setting).
4. Saw Blade Carrier
Move the saw blade carrier to the left.
5. Feed Pawl Needle
When the tooth reaches its position or the slot of the saw center guide (used for trapezoidal tooth setting), the feed pawl needle must be close to the middle of the carbide.
6. Clear Saw Center Guide
Lock the handle (1) of the saw blade carrier and push it out a little in order to put the saw center guide back in (used for trapezoidal tooth setting). Push the saw blade carrier to the left side again and lock the handle (2).
7. Close Saw Blade Clamp
Press the Saw Blade Clamping Close button .
8. Feed Pawl Simulation
Press the Feed Pawl Simulation button to move to the next tooth.
Press again the Feed Pawl Simulation button to let the feed pawl moves away.
